Mini-me.Is he imitating me or me him!😆😆

Writer: NisransNisrans

This is why people say: "A child is the reflection of their parents"

What you do is ultimately reflected through your kids.

This is about my son trying to imitate me. Let me brief you on the incident. I had posted a photo recently on my Instagram page. I showed him the same photo and a few days later found him trying to do the same. I was stunned to see this. I was lucky I was able to capture this moment. Even he used the filter (black and white) I used. That's what amazed me!

This made me think through it. You find this certain act as cute but at the same time, it concerns us. Frankly speaking, this is not the first time I have seen him trying to be a mini-me. But the previous acts were a bit annoying or embarrassing or not to be appreciated. Those are the type of things which I do not want him to learn. It might be my arrogance, my weaknesses, etc. But this particular incident made me think out. Like we say " It opened my eyes".Same thought.

Dear parents, here we all have a lesson to learn. We all are in a world where we know about everything. But still many of us are careless. We really need to be concerned about showing your emotions when your kids are around. Because your kids would exactly try to do the same. I am not an expert to give you all advice about how exactly you can manage things. Here I am just trying to share my feeling and experience which made me think twice. You can refer to many other articles available online or via books or even ask your friends if you really would like to get some right guidance. I always have guidance from my friends or family members, simply because they all have seen me lose it at times. :)

So this is to my son, here you go my boy. "For you, I promise to be careful with my character and each and every action hereafter.اِ نْ شَآ ءَ اللّهُ"

Summing up, Parenting is difficult. Hold on tight everybody. We have a mini us right behind us watching over everything we say or do. Simply gotta be more careful.
